Implants
Dental implants are artificial roots which can be used to support replacement teeth.
Dental implants are an alternative to conventional treatments (dentures or bridges) to replace missing teeth.
They provide the same function as natural teeth
They last longer than conventional treatments. In many cases the cost of an implant is little more than long-term cost of replacing dentures or bridges.
They slow down bone loss
They preserve nearby healthy tooth tissue as there is no need to cut down nearby teeth for crowns to support a bridge.
They feel no different to a normal healthy tooth having its own root .
You can have any number of teeth replaced with implants – from one single tooth to a complete set.
