We are an NHS treatment provider

All necessary dental treatment, including dentures, is available at this practice. Your dentist should fulfill the following dental care practices:

Carry out a thorough examination of your mouth, teeth, and gums.

Explain your treatment options and tell you about the dental services that are available on the NHS or privately.

Make sure you know how much NHS and private treatment will cost.

Provide you with a written treatment plan (including costs) if you are receiving a mix of NHS and private care. (The display screen in our waiting room outlines the current NHS charges.)

Discuss with you how often you need to attend for a dental check-up. If you have good oral health, it is unlikely that you will need a check up less than every six months.

Provide a leaflet that includes information about the dental practice, and the services available.

You may decide to have purely cosmetic dental treatment, such as tooth whitening, done privately. You should ask your dentist how much this will cost in addition to charges for NHS treatment.

Becoming an NHS patient at this practice

You can apply to become a patient by calling in and completing a simple application form. Once you have done so then you will be seen at the first available opportunity.

Currently the number of patients receiving NHS treatment at this practice exceeds 10,000. If you wish to receive NHS treatment you may need to wait a little while as there are a number of new patients awaiting their first appointment.
